Getting started
About 2 minutes to see the four character takes. The full book arrives by email within 10 minutes of payment.
Not to start. We ask for your email when you upload the photo so the book has somewhere to land. The same link signs you in later.
Front facing, well lit, one child in frame. Phone photos are fine. We fix rotation automatically.
Better not to. The character is drawn from one face, so a solo photo gives the truest likeness.
The book
12 or 20, your choice in the wizard. Either way, plus a dedication page you write yourself.
A5 portrait (148 x 210 mm) with bleed, made for home printing or any print shop.
Not yet. Each book stars one child. A two-hero story is on the list.
Before you pay, yes, as often as you like. After payment, use your free redo and we regenerate with the new name.
The arc is. The character, look, name, dedication and language are yours.
Photos and privacy
Used only to generate this book, then deleted within 24 hours. Never used for training.
No. Not ours, not anyone else’s. It exists only to draw your child’s character.
Yes, any time from My books. Photo, drawings and PDF are wiped together.
Only you. Downloads run through signed links tied to your account, nothing is public.
Payment and refunds
12 pages is $24 AUD, 20 pages is $39, and a three book set is $59. Seeing the character takes costs nothing.
If the character doesn’t look like your child, or a page has an obvious error, tell us within 7 days and we redraw it free.
A free redo is offered first, but under Australian Consumer Law a major failure is your choice of refund or replacement. You never pay for a book that did not finish.
Buy one on the Gift page. It covers the full price and lasts 3 years.
Languages
English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese. You choose one per book in the wizard.
Not yet, one per book. Many families order the second language as the gift copy.
Traditional Chinese follows Hong Kong usage.
Printing
Yes. The PDF is sized for A5 with bleed, and borderless printing looks best if your printer can.
160 to 200gsm matte feels most like a real picture book.
Yes. Any print shop can trim and saddle-stitch or spiral bind it from the same file.
